New PikePoints -- Comments Needed

PikePoints Launched -- Slowly... As I announced a few weeks ago, the new PikeNet web site now features PikePoints, a site enhancement that enables you to comment on any product or service linked to PikeNet. The reason that I say "slowly" is that I'd like to create an environment where authenticity is a guiding principle. Quality, not quantity, is important. I'm looking for thoughtful comments, not promotional comments. In fact, even though you can post anonymously, I'll probably decrease the weight of anonymous comments because it's harder to evaluate their authenticity. And you'll see other ground rules, like not commenting on your own company and no personal attacks. All comments are reviewed prior to posting publicly.

Here's how PikePoints works. First, you go to a web site link, either by searching for a word or clicking a "Channel" on the home page, e.g., Software. Then to the right of the title you'll see an "Info" graphic. Click this to generate the Site Information screen. Finally, click the "Post Your Comments" graphic and enter your thoughts and rating from 1 to 5. Once there are five reviews for a link at PikeNet, a star rating will appear next to the site title on a hit list. And remember, very few services (not even PikeNet!) would rate five stars. That's my two cents. ... Thanks for participating.
