Another Killer App -- Qualcomm's Web-based Cell Phone

Real Time, Wireless Research... Mark Cummings of MEC Realty Associates in Fairfax, VA, thinks that he's found a killer application. "One year ago I purchased the Qualcomm PDQ 800, the first web-based /Palm/cell phone all-in-one. Now I sync each morning my Outlook calendar, e-mail, contact update information, as well as over 185 web pages off the web -- updating the latest news, stocks, weather, maps, and even the latest movies and times per zip codes nationwide directly to the cell phone. By updating the cell phone each morning off the computer, the wireless update takes only a minute or two later in the day.

"While waiting to see a new client, I surf Hoover's or EDGAR to see the latest news on their company and stock. With several new applications available to download directly to the phone, I can add or subtract applications as needed. The greatest wireless application that does all this for me is AvantGo. This has been a real timesaver and a real unique tool that makes me more productive and impressive to my clients. Pretty cool!" ... Yep, I agree.
