Follow the Money. What Services Will Owners Buy?

Building Operating Systems... Are you confused? And who isn't with the almost daily announcements of some new service or alliance? How can the web help owners operate their buildings more efficiently? For example, What services will RexOffice feature in its soon-to-launched "portal connecting employees with their companies, their buildings, and their local communities"? When will The REALM fully integrate CTI Limited, Argus and BJ Murray products into a seamless suite of asset management and financial analysis tools? What about "stealth" sites like WorkSpeed and iBuilding?

Procurement Services... When the dust settles, will there be dozens of procurement services -- like there are today? Or just a handful? Why did Constellation Real Technologies invest $25 million in FacilityPro.com? And why did Octane invest $30 million in SiteStuff.com? What differentiates them from other sites "on parade" at the Expo, like AvidXchange, ebuyxpress, manageStar, OpsXchange and OurBuilding?

The Beat Goes On... What about project management systems like Bidcom, iScraper, Cephren, BuzzSaw and eBuilder? Which ones are gaining traction? Will these project management systems tie into lease processing systems?

PikeNet Expo... See all of these companies at the Expo in New York on October 23-24. I hope that you'll find answers! ... Register online or call 1-888-238-0170. The Hilton room block is sold out. So we've added a room block at the nearby Park Central Hotel. Details at the Expo web site under Hotel/Air Info. ... Here are links to the Expo Schedule and Exhibitors.
